As of March, Pablo Madriñan will become the new Commercial Vice President (CCO) of VIVA Group after his outstanding performance as Strategy Director, a decisive role in the growth and national and international expansion of Viva. In the same year of Viva’s tenth anniversary, Madriñan assumes this vice-presidency with the conviction of maintaining its leadership as the most efficient, punctual and affordable ‘Super Low Cost’ airline.

Madriñán assumes the role of Vice President of the entire Commercial Team to continue adding value to the important processes in the areas of Network Planning, Revenue, Additional Services, Sales, Marketing and the Projects and Alliances office. Pablo has more than 11 years of experience in the airline industry, having held important positions at Latam Airlines and Tap Air Portugal, leading high-level teams in the areas of Network Planning and Strategy, as well as Revenue Management and Pricing. He is an industrial engineer from Universidad de los Andes and holds an MBA from IE Business School.
In addition, Francisco Lalinde returns as Vice President of Operations (COO) and Paola Giraldo will be the new Vice President of People (CPO) to bring her vision and expertise to this new role, effective March 14. Paola has more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources and administrative processes, and her addition to the team leaves a first class board of directors, ready to continue the successful growth path of the leading Low Cost airline in the country. The company wishes Juan Diego Zapata, former Director of Sales and Distribution, success in his new challenges.
