Promoting greater connectivity in Cali and now expanding the international offer from this important base for Viva, the airline begins operations this Tuesday on its new Cali – Cancun route.

The airline expects to move approximately 50,000 passengers during the first year of operations of this route, generating the recognized ‘Viva Effect’ with a reduction in market fares of up to 30%.
This start of operations is in addition to the recent launch of the direct route Medellin – Punta Cana and the 14 domestic routes with which Viva will give the ‘Vuelta a Colombia’ and increase its network of connections to 45 domestic routes and 12 international routes. Likewise, with this new route to Cancun, which will be added to the airline’s 23 beach destinations.

The airline will have three weekly flights for this route with prices ranging from USD159 final one-way originating in Cali and USD109 final one-way originating in Cancun. With this, there are now 6 domestic routes and one international route operated from the Cali base, with access to the entire Viva route network through the Medellin HUB, which allows travelers from other cities to easily connect to multiple destinations in Colombia and throughout the continent.
