Qatar Airways Interested in Flying into Mexico City’s New Airport
Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard, announced Tuesday that Qatar Airways is interested in flying to Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA).
“Qatar Airways told us through the voice of the CEO that they want to fly to AIFA airport, therefore this week we will begin negotiations with them, one of the largest airlines in the world,” commented the foreign minister at President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s morning conference.
Qatar Airways is considered one of the world’s best airlines. Since it was founded in 1997, it has won numerous awards and accolades and “has joined the elite group of international airlines to whom Skytrax has awarded a 5-star rating”.
