Cirium, the specialist aviation industry analysis firm, released its customary monthly report on the on-time performance of the world’s airports.
For the month of April 2022, in the category of large airports, Japan’s Osaka, Chitose and Tokyo-Haneda took the top three spots, with 97.09%, 95.75%, 95.50% of their flights on time, respectively.
Fourth place went to Tocumen International Airport (Panama), which was once again the most punctual airport in Latin America, with 92.41%.

In fifth place was Fukuoka International Airport (Japan) with 90.91% and in sixth place was Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (India), with 90.20% of its flights on time.
Cirium’s monthly reports are designed to evaluate airlines and airports that perform well in terms of on-time performance. The data on which these reports are based comes from the Cirium Core, which contains more than 300 terabytes of information from more than 2,000 sources.
