Avianca announced this Wednesday that it will operate non-stop flights to Medellín and Cali from Cúcuta starting on August 17.
Both routes will operate four weekly frequencies, with an offer of nearly 1,200 seats per week on each of the two routes, thanks to the use of Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for at least 150 passengers.

“We can proudly assure you that the strongest air network in Colombia and one of the largest in Latin America continues to grow, in 2021 we set out to inaugurate 50 new routes in the next 3 years and we are getting closer to achieving it. The launch of these routes means that, in addition to seeing a positive operating opportunity in Norte de Santander, Antioquia and Valle del Cauca, we continue to bet on taking Colombians to the destinations they love the most and also boosting the economy by establishing stronger ties with cities that promote this sector”, said David Alemán, Sales Director for Colombia and South America of Avianca.
