Viva Aerobus postpones start of routes from AIFA and Toluca
Viva Aerobus reported this Tuesday that as a result of a delay in the delivery of nine new aircraft from the manufacturer Airbus, derived from problems in its supply chain, as well as the delay of aircraft components by key suppliers such as Pratt & Whitney, the airline sees the need to postpone the start of operations of certain routes to and from different airports that make up the Metropolitan Airport System.

These changes include the new routes from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) to Acapulco, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca and Havana; the restart of operations at the Toluca Airport (AIT) with services to Monterrey and Cancun; and the inauguration of the new routes from this same Toluca airport to Puerto Vallarta and Mérida.
It should be noted that the new route from the AIFA to Cancun will begin without changes on July 15, as planned. Likewise, the flights already in operation from the AIFA to Guadalajara and Monterrey also remain unchanged.
