Ryanair announced on Tuesday that it will add more than 500 flights to and from its base at London’s Stansted Airport for the autumn midterm break, providing an additional 100,000 seats to destinations in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and France. The airline has added these extra seats in response to the latest flight restrictions imposed by Heathrow, which continues to limit the number of seats and flights available due to a lack of staff.

Ryanair confirmed that both the airline and London Stansted Airport have enough staff to handle these additional flights during the autumn mid-term break.
“While Heathrow continues to cut flights and raise fares, Ryanair and London Stansted continue to add flights and offer thousands of low-fare seats for the autumn mid-term break. With over 500 additional flights, over 100,000 additional seats and prices starting at €29.99,” said Ryanair Group CEO Michael O’Leary.
