Viva to suspend direct flights between Bogota and Mexico City
Colombian airline Viva informed that it will suspend its direct flights between Bogota and Mexico City as from October 30. However, according to its website, the airline will continue to offer the route thanks to the agreement it has with Mexico’s Viva Aerobus.
This would be the second route between Colombia and Mexico that the airline suspends, after it cancelled its direct flights between Cali and Cancun last August.

The airline began operating the Bogota-Mexico City route on June 2, 2021, while the Cali-Cancun route began in March 2022.
Viva informed that it will protect passengers affected by the cancellation of the route, in compliance with current Colombian aeronautical regulations.
