LATAM Airlines announced Thursday that it will operate direct flights between Porto Alegre and Santiago (Chile) starting March 2023, its second international route from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
“We are very pleased to celebrate the resumption of Brazilian tourism and announce the Porto Alegre-Santiago route. We are committed to the efficient expansion of connectivity in markets with potential demand and Rio Grande do Sul is a key element in building a sustainable air network and an increasingly borderless world,” says Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

The airline informed that it will begin selling tickets for this new route in the coming weeks.
In Brazil, LATAM currently operates four other routes to Santiago de Chile, from the airports of Sao Paulo-Guarulhos, Rio-Galeão, Curitiba and Florianópolis.
