“We finish a year of consolidation of Avianca in Brazil and continue with our commitment to offer more and more point-to-point routes, adding destinations to Brazilians. In addition to announcing these two new direct routes to better connect Brazilians via Bogota, on January 11 we will start direct operations between Sao Paulo-Guarulhos and Cartagena, the best way to reach the Colombian Caribbean,” said Gustavo Esusy, Avianca’s Commercial Manager for Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
In addition to the news for Brazil, Avianca also announced that it will connect the cities of Boston (USA) and Tegucigalpa (Honduras) with Colombia in 2023, offering 5 flights between Bogota and Boston and 7 flights between Bogota and Tegucigalpa.
With the entry into operation of these new destinations, the airline’s customers will have access to a total of 5 routes in Brazil, 11 destinations in the United States and 70 throughout the Americas and Europe.
