The governor of the state of Trujillo (Venezuela), Gerardo Márquez, informed last Friday that next January 8, 2023, commercial operations at the Antonio Nicolás Briceño Airport are scheduled to restart.
“On January 8, 2023, the Antonio Nicolás Briceño Airport will start commercial operations with Conviasa”, said Márquez in his radio program ¡Háblame Gerardo!

The governor indicated that during this month of December an ATR airplane of the Conviasa airline will carry out tests on the runway, prior to the formal restart of operations on the Caracas – Valera route.
He also indicated that another airline is in the process of completing the formalities to provide services at the airport.
The air terminal has not provided commercial services for approximately seven years.
