OAG, the world’s leading provider of digital flight information based in the United Kingdom, published its annual report on the on-time performance of airlines worldwide in 2022, where Panama’s Copa Airlines was the most punctual in Latin America with 87.54% of its flights on time, and eighth worldwide.
Second place went to LATAM Airlines with 85.03% of its flights on time, and Brazil’s AZUL ranked third with 84.87%.

In fourth place was Sky Airline with 84.82% and in fifth place was Avianca with 83.79%.
The list is completed by Viva Air with 81.63%, Volaris with 75.05% and Aeroméxico with 73.87%.
In order to be included in the OAG Punctuality League, data must be available for at least 80% of all scheduled flights operated by the airline.
The OAG definition of punctuality refers to flights arriving or departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
