Cayman Airways to fly between Grand Cayman and Panama starting in June

Cayman Airways, the national airline of the Cayman Islands, announced the relaunch of its direct flights between Grand Cayman and Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport starting June 26.

The airline will initially offer two flights per week (Monday and Thursday), on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 160 passengers.

“Cayman Airways is delighted to return to vibrant and modern Panama City. This route will provide the perfect combination of leisure and business travel options for our customers in the Cayman Islands as well as Latin America,” said Cayman Airways President and CEO Fabian Whorms.

Tocumen International Airport currently connects to more than 80 destinations in 37 countries in major cities in Europe, the Caribbean, North, Central and South America through 17 airlines.
