Wingo launches its new Cali – Aruba route, the airline’s third international route at the Alfonso Bonilla Aragon Airport serving the capital of Valle del Cauca.

This new route, which adds to the existing offer to Panama, Cancun and Bogota, will take off next July 1, initially operating two flights per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This seasonal operation represents the first direct route between Cali and Aruba in history. The flights will operate exclusively during the peak holiday season in July and August. In total, the airline will make nearly 6,700 seats available to Cali residents on both routes.

Copa Holdings plans to increase flights to Venezuela

Wingo began selling this route this Thursday, with promotional launch fares starting at USD 96 for the Cali – Aruba route and USD 78 for the Aruba – Cali route.

“We are very happy to bring good news for Cali’s air connectivity. We are launching our third international route from the Alfonso Bonilla Aragon with the firm conviction that direct international connectivity is also essential for the economic development of our cities. After the good results of the routes to Panama and Cancun, we are now launching our new direct flight to Aruba so that Cali and Valle del Cauca residents are only two hours away from one of the most paradisiacal destinations in the Caribbean,” said Jorge Jiménez, Wingo’s Commercial and Planning Director.

With this launch, Wingo begins the growth of its network plan in 2023, with a service that responds to the needs of Colombian and Latin American travelers.
