Avianca announced that it will operate a new direct route between San Salvador (El Salvador) and Madrid (Spain) as of June 20.

Flights from San Salvador will depart at 23:10, landing in Madrid at 18:10 the following day (local time). From the Spanish capital will take off at 01:40, arriving at the Pulgarcito de América at 05:00 (local time).
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) on Wamos Air A330-200 aircraft, with fares starting at $1095 roundtrip (including taxes), according to the airline’s website.
