Avianca has been maintaining its protection plan for more than two months, and thanks to this plan has relocated more than 170,000 users of these airlines, 150,000 at no additional cost and 20,000 through a protection fee, so that users with flights cancelled by Viva and Ultra Air have a solution for their travel plans.
To make this plan possible, the company has made available its capacity and human resources, operating 71 additional flights to the destinations with the greatest need for relocation, increasing capacity on some routes and extending the dates of the plan, which allows users of Viva and Ultra Air airlines with issued tickets to have options.
“We reiterate that our commitment to the country and passengers remains firm, our priority is the users and maintain a stable industry, with this we have managed to protect more than 170,000 people, making them reach their destinations and meet their travel plans despite the challenging context that the industry has today. said Frederico Pedreira, Chief Operating Officer of Avianca.

The company reminds that users who want to access the protection plan have two options:
A) Relocation at no additional cost, subject to space and on a first-come, first-served basis at the airport for those who have a flight date with Viva and Ultra airlines until May 5.
How to do it? Users must come to the airports on the day of their flight or a maximum of one day before their flight with a valid ticket to be verified.
B) Protection fares per route in domestic and international destinations for those who have a flight date with Viva and Ultra airlines until May 5.
How to do it?
Viva Air users: call the Avianca Contact Center option 6 or go to the sales offices at the airports* with your reservation number for validation. If the flight is international to Colombia, users must call option 6 of the Contact Center.
