Copa Airlines inaugurated this Thursday its new route to and from Austin, USA, connecting for the first time the state of Texas with its extensive route network in 32 countries in the Americas, through the Hub of the Americas, located in Panama City, Panama.
Flights to Austin will operate four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing at 09:18 from Panama and arriving at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 14:04 (local time). The return flight departs Austin at 15:34, arriving in Tocumen at 20:16 (local time).

“We continue to expand our presence in the United States, and with the inauguration of operations in the city of Austin, we further strengthen connectivity in the continent through the Hub of the Americas®, located in Panama City. In this way, we reaffirm our purpose of shortening distances, connecting families and strengthening commercial ties in the region,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.
The city of Austin becomes Copa Airlines’ 15th destination in the United States, joining the cities it already operates in this country: Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Denver, Washington, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale and Baltimore.
