The route will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), with fares starting at $199 one way (taxes included).

Wingo announces its first domestic route in Panama

Flights will take off from Bogota at 15:36, arriving in Caracas at 18:33 (local time). From the Venezuelan capital, they will depart at 19:43, landing at El Dorado Airport at 20:41 (local time).

“We celebrate and appreciate the institutional decision of both governments to allow Wingo to fly between Bogota and Caracas, with this we contribute to the full restoration of air connectivity between the two countries, so that citizens have greater alternatives for their choice,” said Eduardo Lombana, CEO of Wingo.

In order to contribute to a more expeditious reactivation of commercial and tourist activity between Colombia and Venezuela, Wingo is moving forward with the necessary governmental steps to offer at least four more routes between the two countries in the medium term. “We want to connect Caracas with other cities in Colombia, as well as other Venezuelan cities with Bogota,” said Lombana.
