For eighth consecutive month, Copa Airlines was “Most Punctual Airline in Latin America”
Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on the punctuality performance of Latin American airlines in August 2023, where Panama’s Copa Airlines remained in first place for the eighth consecutive month, with 89.78% of its flights on time.
Second place went to Avianca with 86.86%, which also ranked first in the “Global Airlines” category, and Brazil’s AZUL in third place with 85.37%.

In fourth place was LATAM Airlines with 82.52% and in fifth place was Aeromexico with 80.60%.
The list is completed by SKY Airline with 75.51%, Caribbean Airlines with 75.41%, Brazil’s GOL with 72.94% and Aerolíneas Argentinas with 64.67%.
These were the most punctual airlines in August in other regions:
- North America: Delta with 82.80%.
- Europe: Iberia with 85.76%.
- Asia-Pacific: AirAsia India with 86.33%,
- Middle East and Africa: Safair with 93.13%.
