Aeromexico to increase flights to Madrid and Paris in 2024

During the summer of 2024, Aeromexico will increase its operations to Europe by adding six additional weekly frequencies to Madrid and three more to Paris from Mexico City. This will meet the high demand and connectivity for the Paris Olympic Games.

This adjustment represents an 18% increase between Mexico and Europe, which translates into 65 weekly flights to Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Paris and Rome, surpassing the record reached by the airline in the summer of 2023.

The airline will be connecting to Madrid from Mexico City with 20 weekly flights, as well as from Guadalajara and Monterrey with seven flights a week from each city, for a total of 34 weekly flights to the Spanish capital, an increase of 22% compared to the summer of 2023.

On the Mexico City – Paris route, the new flights will represent a 34% growth, with a total of 10 weekly operations.

“Last summer we broke connectivity records between Mexico and Europe and we will do it again next summer, which also coincides with the Olympic Games. He added: “Our Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, the most modern, efficient and comfortable, as well as the best talent in the industry, help us to continue elevating travel to an extraordinary experience,” said Giancarlo Mulinelli, Aeromexico’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales.

Let’s remember that Aeromexico’s first flight to Europe took place 60 years ago, arriving in Madrid with a Douglas DC-8, so Spain was the company’s gateway to the Old Continent, where today it offers direct flights to five emblematic destinations and many others through its agreements with other airlines.
