Copa Airlines will increase its flights between Panama City and Maracaibo (Venezuela) from five to seven weekly frequencies as of January 2024, thus resuming the daily operations it offered to the capital of the state of Zulia before the pandemic.
As of December 20, 2023, the company will add a sixth weekly frequency, which will operate on Wednesdays, and as of January 8, 2024, it will add a new flight on Mondays.

In this way, Copa Airlines and Panama consolidate their position as the airline and the most relevant and important international connection point between Venezuela and the rest of the continent, operating 44 weekly frequencies from 5 destinations: Caracas with 24 flights per week, Valencia 7 weekly frequencies, Maracaibo with 7 weekly flights, Barcelona with 3 weekly frequencies and Barquisimeto with 3 weekly frequencies through the Hub of the Americas, located at Tocumen International Airport in Panama.
