Skytrax, the international air transport rating organization, has once again awarded Iberia a four-star rating.

Skytrax auditors have analyzed more than 1,400 points of the customer travel experience, both on short- and medium-haul and long-haul flights.

The result is recognition of Iberia’s transformation in recent years, in which the Spanish airline has renewed its fleet with more modern and efficient aircraft, transformed its in-flight service in all cabins, improved the quality of food and wine, and implemented improvements in airports, lounges and digital channels.

“This certification measures the quality of our customers’ experience flying with Iberia; it is an international certification that positions us among the best airlines in the world. The four-star distinction is an incentive to continue advancing in the attention and services we offer our customers,” said Gabriel Perdiguero, Iberia’s Director of Customers, Transformation and Technology.

Skytrax takes into account elements such as the quality of the final product or good customer service. From these scales it draws up an international rating based on a direct and professional analysis of the standards of each airline. The ratings range from a single star to the highest category of five stars.

The Skytrax certified airline rating program began in 1999 and is the leading quality assessment system recognized by the international airline industry.
