Turkish Airlines inaugurated new route between Istanbul and Detroit

Turkish Airlines inaugurated flights between Istanbul and Detroit, its thirteenth destination in the United States, on Wednesday.

The route will operate three weekly frequencies on Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which have capacity for 300 passengers; 30 in Business Class and 270 in Economy. Beginning December 25, 2023, the airline will increase flights to four a week.

With this new route, Turkish Airlines increases its network to 345 destinations.
