Air Europa announced that it will increase its flights between Madrid and Caracas (Venezuela) with a new frequency on Sundays starting December 24, increasing to five weekly flights.
This increase will be maintained throughout 2024 in response to the increase in demand recorded on this route during 2023.
The airline expects to carry more than 140,000 passengers on the Madrid-Caracas connection throughout 2024.

“We are very pleased to redouble our commercial commitment to Venezuela. In addition to the good performance of this market, we have an extraordinary relationship with the national tourism authorities, with whom we share a vision of the strategic connection that this route represents as an engine of commercial and social development for the country,” said Jesús Nuño de la Rosa, CEO of Air Europa.
The increase in frequencies to Venezuela is part of an increase in Air Europa’s activity throughout the continent. The airline has strengthened its presence in countries such as Colombia, Paraguay and Ecuador. It has also recently added a fifth weekly frequency to New York and Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), and is activating a third connection to Salvador de Bahia (Brazil), to meet end-of-year holiday demand.
