Avianca began nonstop flights between San José (Costa Rica) and Caracas this Saturday, marking the airline’s return to Venezuela after 6 years.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) on Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart from San José at 11:00 a.m., landing in Caracas at 3:50 p.m. (local time). From the Venezuelan capital they will take off at 17:20, arriving at Juan Santamaría International Airport at 18:05 (local time).
“We are very pleased to be able to return to Venezuela, thus expanding our network of international destinations and reaffirming our promise to customers to provide point-to-point connectivity to the destinations they want to travel to,” said Alex Benitez, Avianca’s Vice President for Central America and the Andean Region.
