Ryanair invests US$1.4 billion in Morocco for 2024

Ryanair announced Wednesday its largest summer schedule to Morocco, operating more than 1,100 weekly flights across 175 routes, 35 of them new.

It also announced the arrival of its ultra-low fares on 11 Moroccan domestic routes, boosting domestic connectivity and stimulating traffic growth throughout the Kingdom.

As part of this record program for the summer of 2024, which will offer more than 5 million passengers (+33% growth) to/from, and now within the Kingdom, Ryanair announced its 4th Moroccan base, with 2 new aircraft in Tangier (a $200 million investment), as well as the first flights to Beni-Mellal and Errachidia airports.

The airline will have 14 aircraft based in Morocco (7 Marrakech, 3 Fez, 2 Agadir and 2 Tangier).

Ryanair’s investment in Morocco now exceeds $1.4 billion in aircraft, providing more than 500 direct jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers, as well as thousands of support jobs in the tourism sector, and generating economic growth in 12 cities, including Rabat, Marrakech, Fez, Agadir, Tangier, Ouarzazate and Essaouira.
