Copa Airlines to fly to 3 new destinations in Mexico, Brazil and the U.S.

Panama’s Copa Airlines announced Monday that it will begin operations to three new destinations starting in June of this year: Tulum in Mexico, Florianopolis in Brazil and Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, United States. With the addition of these routes, the airline expands its network to 85 destinations in 32 countries in Central, South, North America and the Caribbean.

This strategic expansion not only promotes cultural exchange in the region, but also promotes and deepens tourism and business in the United States, Mexico and Brazil, as well as opens the opportunity for more tourists to enjoy the wonders of Panama thanks to the Panama Stopover program,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.

Copa Airlines to Resume Flights to Santiago de los Caballeros in April 2024

The airline strengthens its U.S. offering with the addition of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, effective June 21, 2024. The route will operate four weekly frequencies and will join the 15 destinations served by the airline in the country.

Starting June 26, Copa Airlines will connect the magical city of Tulum, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, with the Hub of the Americas in Panama.

This new connection, which will operate with four weekly frequencies, becomes the airline’s fifth destination in Mexico, joining Mexico City, Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey: Mexico City, Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

In order to expand its connectivity in the important Brazilian market, starting June 25, Copa Airlines will fly three times a week to the city of Florianópolis, the capital of the state of Santa Catarina in the south of the country, becoming the airline’s seventh destination in Brazil.
