JetSMART marks a milestone in regional connectivity by inaugurating the first low-cost non-stop flight between Lima (Peru) and Quito (Ecuador).
The route will operate three flights per week on Airbus A320 aircraft and is expected to carry more than 4,100 passengers per month.
“Achieving the company’s growth objectives is truly gratifying, giving more Peruvians the opportunity to discover Quito in a direct and affordable way. This historic connection reinforces our presence in the region, offering an option in new aircraft, paying only for what you use and flying on time,” said Francesca Luna, JetSMART’s General Manager in Peru.

JetSMART also plans to begin operations to Guayaquil on April 2, 2024, with three weekly flights.
This year, the airline aims to consolidate its presence in Peru, strengthening its domestic routes with more frequencies and expanding its network of connections in South America.
JetSMART closed 2023 with a total of 79 routes, making it the low-cost airline with the largest number of routes operating in South America.
