This Thursday, the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum received for the first time international flights from four cities in the United States: Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Miami, through Delta and American Airlines, according to the Government of Quintana Roo.
These four flights carried more than 600 passengers.

“With these new connections more than 6,160 weekly passengers will have the opportunity to experience the Mayan culture, tradition, gastronomy and the extraordinary natural beauty offered by the central and southern Mexican Caribbean,” said Mara Lezama, Governor of Quintana Roo.
United Airlines will begin operations from Houston in April, while Air Canada will arrive on May 3 with flights from Toronto and Montreal.
Starting in June, Copa Airlines is expected to arrive from Panama, and Discovery, a subsidiary airline of Lufthansa, is expected to arrive from Frankfurt.
