Viva Aerobus inaugurated this Friday its new route between Monterrey and Austin, Texas, expanding its flight offerings to the United States.
The new route will be operated three times a week (Mondays, Fridays and Sundays) on Airbus A320 or A321 aircraft, with an average age of 5.2 years.

“This new route is part of our larger expansion strategy in the United States. We are excited to make travel between the two regions easier and more accessible than ever,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva Aerobus.
Thanks to the three weekly frequencies and convenient schedules of this new route, passengers coming from Austin will be able to easily make connections to more than 10 Mexican destinations such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Cancun, Merida, Queretaro, Mazatlan, Veracruz and Hermosillo, among others.
