Avianca announced a new non-stop route connecting San Salvador and Montreal (Canada) starting June 1, as part of its strategy to strengthen connectivity between El Salvador and North America.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) on Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers, making available to travelers more than 1,000 seats per week on both routes.

“We are very excited to continue opening more routes in El Salvador. Last year alone we increased our connectivity to the United States by 50% and today, we want to continue boosting our network to the north of the continent with a new route to Canada,” said Alex Benítez, Avianca’s vice president for Central America and the Andean Region.
Montreal becomes the second destination that the airline operates to Canada from El Salvador, after Toronto.
