JetSMART took delivery of two new A320neo aircraft from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, increasing its fleet to 37 aircraft: 29 A320neo and 8 A321neo.
The airline plans to incorporate three new aircraft in May, June and July to operate in the Colombian market.

Expansion in Colombia
The airline announced the opening of seven new domestic routes in Colombia and one international route. One of the destinations announced is San Andres Island, which JetSMART will operate from Medellín five times a week.
The company also announced a new international route from Pereira to Lima, as well as two new domestic routes: one from Pereira to Santa Marta and the other to Medellín. These routes are in addition to the existing routes between Bogotá, Pereira and Cartagena. With these additions, JetSMART expands its network of domestic destinations from 8 to 15.
