Avianca inaugurated this Saturday the new non-stop route between Medellin (Colombia) and Buenos Aires (Argentina), continuing with its objective of offering more and more direct connections in the region.

The airline will offer a daily flight on this route, which will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for up to 180 passengers, with more than 2,500 seats per week on both routes.

Flights will depart Medellín at 16:45, arriving in Buenos Aires at 01:25 the following day (local time). From Ezeiza they will take off at 02:30, arriving at José María Córdova Airport at 07:05 (local time).

“We are working, together with the authorities, to increasingly connect our countries because we know that strengthening connectivity between Argentina and Colombia promotes and benefits both markets. In addition, people arriving in Medellín on this new route will be able to connect to 75 destinations in 25 countries to which Avianca travels,” said Ana María Copete, Avianca’s Director of Business Development.
