“The opening of the new Raleigh-Durham route strengthens our network of destinations in the United States by allowing our passengers greater connectivity and access to the region known as North Carolina’s Research Triangle, the state’s innovation and technology hub. Serving this destination allows us to offer our passengers fast and convenient connections to a wide range of destinations in the continent, opening new business and tourism development opportunities in the region,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.
Raleigh-Durham thus joins the other 15 destinations served by the airline in the United States: Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Denver, Washington, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale, Baltimore and Austin.
Copa Airlines operates an average of 360 flights daily through the Hub of the Americas, located at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, connecting 85 cities in 32 countries in North, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean.
