Brazilian airline GOL launched a new route that will connect São Paulo-Guarulhos with San José (Costa Rica) starting November 12, 2024, becoming its first destination in Central America.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 186 passengers.

The flight, which will last more than 7 hours, will depart São Paulo at 13:55, arriving in San José at 18:25 (local time). It will take off from the Costa Rican capital at 20:40, landing in Guarulhos at 07:10 the following day (local time).
“The entry of Costa Rica into our network fills us with joy and reiterates the company’s focus on continued international expansion,” commented Rafael Araújo, GOL’s Air Network Planning Director.
