Philippine Cebu Pacific Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus to purchase 102 A321neo aircraft with options for a further fifty A320neo Family aircraft.
The low-cost carrier expects to close the deal, which is the largest order in Philippine history, in the third quarter of 2024.

“The order is designed to provide Cebu Pacific with maximum flexibility to adapt fleet growth to market conditions, with the ability to switch between the A321neo and A320neo,” said CEO Michael Szucs.
Cebu Pacific has also selected the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engine to power the aircraft, according to ch-aviation.
The airline currently has a fleet of 87 aircraft: 18 ATR 72, 39 A320, 22 A321 and 8 A330.
