Aeromexico announced Monday that it will begin daily nonstop service between Cancun and Miami starting December 19, 2024.
This new route is possible thanks to the Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) with Delta Air Lines, which allows the airlines to offer improved connectivity between Mexico and the United States.
→ Aeromexico to fly to Newark, New Jersey
The route will operate one daily flight in Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 166 passengers: 16 in Premier Cabin, 18 in AM Plus and 132 in Main Cabin.
Flights will depart Cancun at 11:10 a.m., arriving in Miami at 1:05 p.m. (local time). From the city of the sun they will take off at 07:55, landing in the Yucatan Peninsula at 09:55 (local time).
This new route will complement Aeromexico’s current service to Miami from Mexico City, where it offers five daily frequencies.
Tickets are now on sale on the airline’s website.
