Fiji Airways announced Wednesday the launch of a new nonstop route connecting Nadi, Fiji, and Dallas Fort Worth, USA, beginning December 10, 2024, making it the airline’s fifth North American destination, following Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu and Vancouver.
The new service, which will last approximately 13 hours, will operate three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) on Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft with capacity for 334 passengers: 33 in Business Class and 301 in Economy.
→ Passenger Demand Up 9.1% in June
“Introducing a direct service between Fiji and Dallas is a really exciting milestone for Fiji Airways, as we continue to increase Fiji’s connectivity with the United States and beyond offering our guests more travel options”, said Fiji Airways Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Andre Viljoen.
The new service to Dallas will complement various other initiatives announced by the airline recently, including its plans to join the American Airlines’ AAdvantage® loyalty program in the coming year and becoming the 15th full member of the oneworld alliance in 2025.
Tickets for this new route are now on sale on the airline’s website.
