The Panamanian airline Copa Airlines continues to enhance connectivity across Latin America and the Caribbean with the announcement of a new route to Los Cabos, Mexico, and the resumption of flights to Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic and Salvador Bahia in Brazil. This expansion aligns with its strategy to solidify the Hub of the Americas, located at Tocumen International Airport in Panama, as the region’s premier connection center.
New Route to Los Cabos: A Luxury Destination in Mexico
Starting December 4, 2025, Copa Airlines will launch regular flights to Los Cabos, an iconic tourist destination in Mexico. Located at the southern tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula, Los Cabos is renowned for its unique blend of desert and sea, along with its crystal-clear beaches. The famous stone Arch, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, is just one of the natural wonders that attract visitors from around the world.
The Los Cabos route will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flights will depart from Tocumen International Airport at 9:09 a.m. (local time) and arrive at Los Cabos International Airport at 12:27 p.m. (local time). Return flights will leave Los Cabos at 1:33 p.m. (local time) and land in Panama at 8:30 p.m. (local time).
