As of December 10, travelers will have three frequencies a week to fly between El Caraño Airport in Quibdó and El Dorado in Bogotá, with a total capacity of 1,080 seats available weekly.

“This year we consolidated the most extensive network in our history and are transporting the largest number of travelers in our 105 years of flying. We continue to be excited about reaching new destinations and connecting those territories that need air transportation the most, because we know that this is where the challenge lies. With these new routes, we will be flying to the four corners of Colombia: San Andrés, Leticia, Quibdó and Arauca, the latter of which will be the most easterly point we fly to,” said Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca.

With the opening of these new operations, Avianca customers will now have 25 domestic destinations to fly throughout the country and an offer of more than 75 destinations in more than 25 countries in the Americas and Europe.
