Finnair to increase flights to U.S. and Asia next summer
Finnair announced Monday that it will add more flights to Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and Los Angeles in the United States, as well as Nagoya and Osaka in Japan and Shanghai in China for the 2025 summer season.
The company will operate up to one daily flight to Chicago and 11 weekly flights to Dallas, which is five more frequencies than the service offered to the Texan city in the summer of 2024. In addition, both Seattle and Los Angeles will have two additional weekly frequencies.

“Increasing our capacity to the United States brings our customers excellent connectivity to North America and beyond. Customers can connect via Dallas and Chicago to our partner American Airlines’ extensive network in North and South America, while Seattle and Los Angeles offer a gateway to for example other parts of the West Coast and Hawaii, through our partners American Airlines and Alaska Airlines”, says Finnair’s Chief Revenue Officer Christine Rovelli.
In addition to the United States, Finnair will increase capacity to Japan and China. Next summer, the airline will fly daily to Osaka, site of Expo 2025. Nagoya, which the carrier reopened last summer, also receives an additional flight, reaching four services per week.
Finnair will also add one weekly flight to Shanghai in China, flying there four times per week during the summer season 2025.
