Aeroméxico and Delta Air Lines continue to strengthen their strategic alliance with the addition of two new international routes that will begin operations on June 5, 2025, further reinforcing their leadership in cross-border connectivity between Mexico and the United States.
New Routes: More Opportunities to Travel
The two announced routes will connect Mexico City with Philadelphia and San Luis Potosí with Atlanta. These additions bring the airlines’ joint network to 26 destinations between both countries, operating on 57 routes with more than 90 daily flights.
Mexico City – Philadelphia: Direct Connection to U.S. History
The Mexico City – Philadelphia route addresses the demand to connect the largest city in Pennsylvania, the biggest U.S. market without direct flights to Mexico. This daily service will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft, offering personal screens, paid Wi-Fi connectivity, and a Sky Interior lighting system.
Flight Schedule:
Departure from Mexico City: 1:35 PM | Arrival in Philadelphia: 8:25 PM
Departure from Philadelphia: 10:02 AM | Arrival in Mexico City: 12:55 PM
San Luis Potosí – Atlanta: A Strategic Link for Business
The second route connects San Luis Potosí, a key hub of the Mexican automotive industry, with Atlanta, Delta’s primary operations center. This flight will be operated by Embraer 190 aircraft.
Flight Schedule:
Departure from San Luis Potosí: 9:00 AM | Arrival in Atlanta: 2:22 PM
Departure from Atlanta: 3:39 PM | Arrival in San Luis Potosí: 4:49 PM
Atlanta, with Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, connects to more than 150 domestic and 65 international destinations, making it one of the largest connection hubs in the world, with over 81 million passengers annually.
An Alliance That Transforms Connectivity
The Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA), established eight years ago, has transported over 50 million passengers, consolidating itself as the largest cross-border alliance between Mexico and the United States. This agreement offers security, comfort, and quality, redefining the international travel experience.
