An Unmatched Travel Experience
Etihad’s A380 stands out for offering the only three-room suite in the sky: The Residence. This luxury option allows up to two passengers to enjoy a private living room, an exclusive bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower at 40,000 feet. Additionally, The Residence passengers have access to an à la carte menu served with designer tableware, as well as exclusive options like caviar and champagne.
For First Class travelers, the airline offers nine First Apartments with spacious leather seats that convert into 80-inch beds, personal vanity units, and access to a private shower.
Business Class passengers can enjoy the Business Studios, 70 private spaces located on the upper deck. This class also features “The Lobby,” an exclusive lounge and bar. Furthermore, Etihad has collaborated with Armani/Casa to offer a refined experience with high-end tableware, glassware, and textiles.
In Economy Class, travelers can choose between 68 seats with extra legroom and 337 Economy Smart seats, designed for greater comfort with ergonomic headrests and oversized pillows.
Strategy and Traveler Benefits
According to Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, the implementation of the A380 on the Toronto route is a response to the demand for greater capacity and connectivity. This will strengthen ties between Canada, the Persian Gulf, and the Indian subcontinent, while also attracting more visitors to Abu Dhabi.
Travelers can take advantage of the Abu Dhabi Stopover program, which allows stays of up to two nights free of charge in premium hotels in the city, making Abu Dhabi not only a connection point but also an attractive tourist destination.
