JetSMART’s growth and consolidation in Colombia
Since its entry into the Colombian market in March 2024, JetSMART has experienced steady growth, establishing itself as one of the preferred airlines for travelers. Currently, the company operates with a modern fleet of eight Airbus A320neo aircraft and connects 10 cities in the country. The addition of the Cali — San Andrés flight increases its total number of routes to 19.
Víctor Mejía, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of JetSMART, emphasized that this expansion reinforces the airline’s commitment to connectivity and the country’s tourism development. “Our Smart proposal translates into a modern fleet, optimized costs, and strategic connectivity that drives traveler mobility and regional growth,” he stated.
In addition to its domestic routes, which include Bogotá, Medellín, Cúcuta, Pereira, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Montería, and Barranquilla, JetSMART offers international connections to Chile, Peru, and Argentina.
