Cirium, the firm specializing in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for January 2025, where Aeroméxico ranked first in the “Global Airlines” category, with 89.20% of its flights on time.
In North America, Southwest Airlines was the most punctual with 83.30%, followed by Alaska Airlines in second place with 82.59%, and Spirit Airlines in third with 81.13%.
In Latin America, Brazil’s GOL took first place with 89.77%, followed by Copa Airlines with 89.45%, Aeroméxico with 89.20%, Aerolíneas Argentinas with 86.48%, and Caribbean Airlines with 86.42%.

In Europe, Iberia Express ranked first with 87.49%, followed by ITA Airways with 87.40%, and Vueling with 87.31%.
In Asia-Pacific, Hainan Airlines took first place with 83.51%, followed by Air New Zealand with 80.61%, and Japan Airlines in third with 80.36%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Safair was first with 94.49%, Qatar Airways second with 85.54%, and Royal Jordanian third with 84.81%.
In the “Low-Cost Airlines” category, Brazil’s GOL ranked first with 89.77%, followed by Iberia Express with 87.49%, and Vueling with 87.31%.
