Air Europa announced this Thursday the addition of Prague to its network of destinations, thanks to a codeshare agreement with the airline Smartwings. This agreement, which will take effect on March 30, will offer a daily frequency between Madrid and the capital of the Czech Republic, strengthening the airline’s connectivity in Central Europe.
Smartwings, a subsidiary of Travel Service Airlines, has previously collaborated with Air Europa on successful agreements. This partnership not only benefits passengers in terms of availability and travel options but also reinforces Air Europa’s strategic position at Madrid-Barajas Airport.

Prague: A Key Destination in Europe
Prague is one of the most visited destinations on the continent, renowned for its history, architecture, and privileged location on the banks of the Vltava River. Its tourist appeal remains strong throughout the year, making this route an ideal option for both leisure and business travelers.
The inclusion of Prague in Air Europa’s network also provides an advantage for passengers connecting through Madrid to other national and international destinations, particularly in the Americas, where the airline has a strong presence.
Air Europa’s Expansion in Central Europe
This agreement with Smartwings adds to other codeshare agreements that Air Europa maintains in the Netherlands, Denmark, and France. In total, the airline collaborates with nearly thirty companies, allowing it to operate in approximately 170 destinations across more than 30 countries.
Thanks to these strategic alliances, Air Europa continues to expand its offerings and provide its customers with greater travel options without compromising the quality and service standards that define the airline.
