Malaysia Airlines Resumes Direct Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Paris
Malaysia Airlines has embarked on a new chapter in its history with the relaunch of its direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, which commenced on Saturday. This service marks the airline’s 68th destination and strengthens its role as a gateway to Asia and beyond.
High Demand and Increased Frequency
The reintroduction of this route has been met with enthusiasm from travelers, achieving a 95% occupancy rate on its inaugural flight. Initially, Malaysia Airlines will operate four weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Paris until March 27, increasing to daily flights starting March 29, 2025.

“The launch of our direct service to Paris represents a significant milestone for Malaysia Airlines as we expand our presence in Europe. This route not only reinforces our position as the gateway to Asia but also meets the growing demand for non-stop travel between Malaysia and France,” emphasized Aresandiran.
“Time for Paris”: A Campaign to Rediscover the City of Light
In anticipation of this relaunch, Malaysia Airlines unveiled the “Time for Paris” campaign, inviting travelers to rediscover the magic of the French capital with the airline’s signature hospitality. As part of this initiative, passengers will receive the “Time for Memorable Journeys Pocketbook,” a guide featuring tips on language, local etiquette, and Parisian cuisine, ensuring a more enriching travel experience.
Enhanced Connectivity Through American Airlines Partnership
Committed to improving global connectivity, Malaysia Airlines has strengthened its partnership with American Airlines, enabling passengers to connect to four additional U.S. destinations from Paris-Charles de Gaulle: New York (JFK), Dallas, Miami, and Orlando. This expansion highlights the airline’s strategic role in linking Europe, Asia, and North America.
