Copa Airlines will resume flights between Panama City and Caracas starting May 27, 2025, marking the return of a key connection after nearly 10 months of suspended air operations between Panama and Venezuela.
Itinerary Details: Schedules and Frequencies
Initial frequency: Once daily
From May 27 to May 31, the airline will operate one daily flight with the following schedules:
- Panama City → Caracas: Departure 2:46 p.m., arrival 6:11 p.m.
- Caracas → Panama City: Departure 7:21 p.m., arrival 8:47 p.m.
Starting June 1, the schedule will change:
- Panama City → Caracas: Departure 9:03 a.m., arrival 12:22 p.m.
- Caracas → Panama City: Departure 1:32 p.m., arrival 3:01 p.m.
These new schedules aim to facilitate connections with other destinations across the continent through Tocumen Hub.

Additional Flights Starting Late June
Beginning Monday, June 23, Copa Airlines will add a second daily frequency on this route, doubling operational capacity and offering travelers greater flexibility.
Ticket Purchases and Changes
Passengers with valid tickets issued by May 22, 2025, for travel dates starting July 30, 2024, and itineraries to/from Venezuela or nearby cities in Colombia, Aruba, or Curaçao, may change their origin or destination to Caracas without a change fee. Gradual Reactivation of Other Venezuelan Routes
Although specific dates have not yet been announced, the airline plans to gradually resume its routes to Barcelona, Barquisimeto, Maracaibo, and Valencia.
