Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced its schedule for the winter holidays, with operations exceeding 330 daily flights in July. The airline will make over 1.4 million seats available, marking one of its largest operational deployments of the year.
Of this total, more than 1 million seats will be allocated to the domestic market, focusing on the most sought-after winter tourist destinations.
Bariloche: The Hub of the Network
Among domestic destinations, San Carlos de Bariloche leads the schedule with over 110 weekly flights and direct connections from Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mendoza, Mar del Plata, and Viedma. Ushuaia and El Calafate follow, with daily services from Aeroparque and non-stop flights from Córdoba and Rosario.
Additionally, the airline is expanding coverage to San Martín de los Andes, Mendoza, Iguazú, and other key cities, supported by an inter-city network that allows travelers to connect across the country without passing through Buenos Aires.
Strengthening Strategic Routes
Frequencies will also be increased on high-demand routes such as:
- Buenos Aires — Córdoba
- Buenos Aires — Tucumán
- Buenos Aires — Jujuy
- Buenos Aires — Mar del Plata
These routes will bolster passenger flow between urban centers and traditional tourist destinations.

Brazil: A Key Player in Inbound Tourism
International tourism will receive a significant boost with over 80 weekly flights between Argentina and Brazil. Of these, 30 will depart from São Paulo and another 30 from Rio de Janeiro, complemented by daily flights to Porto Alegre, Curitiba, and Salvador de Bahía.
Many of these flights will connect directly to Argentine winter destinations, such as:
- São Paulo — Bariloche
- São Paulo — San Martín de los Andes
- São Paulo — Salta
This optimization allows tourists to bypass Buenos Aires, positioning the airline as a key player in inbound tourism.
For outbound travel, direct flights from Córdoba and Rosario to Rio de Janeiro will continue, facilitating international trips for Argentine tourists.
Expanded Regional Network
Aerolíneas Argentinas will operate daily flights to Santiago de Chile, Bogotá, Lima, and Montevideo, while maintaining regular services to Asunción, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, and Punta del Este.
A notable addition is the new direct Montevideo — Bariloche route during July. In total, the regional offering will reach 225,000 seats.
Long-Haul International Flights with Increased Frequencies
The long-haul network will also grow, with over 108,000 seats available. Highlights include:
- Miami: increasing from 14 to 16 weekly flights
- Punta Cana: rising from 4 to 6 frequencies
- Cancún: maintaining 5 weekly flights
- Madrid: offering 12 frequencies
- Rome: operating 4 weekly flights
Special Promotion for Traveling in Argentina
Until June 30, travelers can purchase tickets for domestic destinations in up to 12 interest-free installments with major banks and credit cards. The promotion is available on the airline’s website and app.
With this robust operation, Aerolíneas Argentinas reaffirms its commitment to boosting domestic and inbound tourism, supporting regional economic growth through an efficient, extensive, and well-connected network.
