Iberia Resumes Seasonal Flights to Ponta Delgada and Tirana
Iberia has reinstated its seasonal flights to two cities that have emerged as rising stars in European tourism: Ponta Delgada, in Portugal’s Azores archipelago, and Tirana, the vibrant capital of Albania. With this relaunch, the Spanish airline expands its summer network with a unique offering that also includes Dubrovnik, Mykonos, and Catania.
These routes reflect Iberia’s commitment to connecting Spain with destinations that combine nature, culture, and new tourism and business opportunities.
Over 19,000 Seats Between Madrid and Ponta Delgada
Starting today, Iberia will operate three weekly flights between Madrid and the capital of São Miguel Island: on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. This frequency represents a total capacity of more than 19,000 available seats through September.

Tirana Returns After a Successful Debut
Iberia has also resumed direct operations to Tirana, following the route’s strong performance last summer. This season, the airline offers three weekly flights—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—with a total capacity exceeding 18,000 seats.
